As a WHA member – we ask you to pledge your support for the sustainability initiatives covering 5 areas over a period of 5 years.
You may wish to concentrate on one particular area each year, or embrace a number at a time. We are compiling reports to show-case Members’ good works and provide best practice examples for others to follow. (Link to Show cases).
Share your successes with us so that others can be inspired – be a leader in this initiative as well as learning from industry colleagues. Being a WHA Member already sets you apart: this is another programme that can help your company be the best of the best.
Pledge 1
Increase environmental sustainability through decreased use of energy, reusing and recycling of materials and improved logistics & transport.
Pledge 2
Attend to water management to ensure use of water throughout the supply chain is as sustainable as possible in order to protect one of our industry’s most precious resources.
Pledge 3
Seek ways of being more socially sustainable by supporting industry-wide and local community corporate social responsibility schemes involving staff and the wider community.

Promote financially sustainable growth linked to environmental sustainability to ensure business success and increased employment.
